Nora Giese

December 17, 2024/in Staff and Practitioners /by Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic

Nora Giese (MSc – Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner)

Nora Giese is a highly experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner with a special interest in infertility and gynaecological conditions, particularly endometriosis. Originally based in Bonn, Germany, she has recently relocated to Sydney to pursue a PhD in acupuncture and endometriosis through the NECST Fellowship.

Nora holds a Master’s in Advanced Oriental Medicine (Research and Practice) from Middlesex University London, completed with distinction. Her research on acupuncture for pelvic pain in endometriosis has been widely recognised, with three peer-reviewed publications, including a systematic review.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Nora has led training programmes on integrative fertility care across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, and is a regular speaker at international conferences. She is the author of a patient guidebook on Chinese medicine for endometriosis, published in 2018. Her German practice was one of Europe’s first ABORM-certified clinics for fertility care.

Nora’s professional philosophy centres on integrating ancient Chinese medicine with modern evidence-based approaches, empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well-being. She believes in treating the whole person, addressing the physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that contribute to optimal health and balance.

Alexandria Clinic Schedule Update: Nora will be covering AnNi’s Wednesday shifts starting mid/late January and taking over Fridays from January 31st.
