Charlie Foust

February 18, 2023/in Education /by Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic

Charlie Foust

As a dedicated practitioner, Charlie blends deep knowledge of Chinese medicine with an intuitive and compassionate approach to client care. She recognises that physical, emotional, and mental health are deeply intertwined and works holistically to support each client’s unique health journey. Whether addressing women’s health, fertility, stress, or digestive issues, Charlie’s treatments are always tailoured to the individual.

Charlie’s expertise is grounded in both rigorous study and hands-on experience. She holds a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has extensive training in fertility, having been mentored in the renowned clinics of Jane Lyttleton. She also follows the lineage of Dr. Richard Tan, studying classical meridian therapy under Master Sonia Tan. Prior to her career in Chinese medicine, Charlie worked as a birth doula and childbirth educator. She also advocated legislatively for women and families through a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to informed, supported, and empowered birth. With over a decade in that space, she carries a deep respect for a woman’s ability to birth her baby with confidence and care.

Charlie lived most of her life in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. The decade prior to moving to Sydney she was a certified birth doula, Lamaze childbirth educator and served on the board of a nonprofit that advocated legislatively for women’s health. She became passionate about Chinese medicine after several personal experiences in her twenties and by also witnessing  the benefits for her birthing clients.

A wife and mother of two, Charlie enjoys slow travel, gardening, and listening to stories of the human experience.

Check her availability and book an appointment today via our Sydney East-Alexandria Clinic location page.
