Dr Amy Forth (TCM) – Doctor of Chinese Medicine

Managing Director, The Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic

Dr Amy Forth (TCM) — Doctor of Chinese Medicine Managing Director, The Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic

Who I am

I’m a Chinese medicine practitioner, integrative medicine researcher and educator. I have practiced since 2008, and my clinical work is in fertility, IVF support, pregnancy and women’s health.

I’m Managing Director of The Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic, a group of six clinics across New South Wales and Victoria, and Director of our Alexandria clinic. Alexandria sits inside Alexandria Specialist Day Hospital alongside IVF Australia’s consulting and procedure facilities, one of the first acupuncture clinics in Australia to operate within a hospital, and the first to do so in reproductive medicine.

Alongside clinical practice I’ve worked as a researcher at the NICM Health Research Institute at Western Sydney University, published on integrative medicine and interprofessional communication, and taught acupuncture and Chinese medicine to GPs, midwives, fertility nurses, IVF specialists and Chinese medicine practitioners.
