Acupuncture and Period Pain

SBS reports on the findings of a pilot study by our colleagues at Western Sydney Uni. While it is early days, and further research needs to follow, these findings indicate the possibility that acupuncture may be a method useful for helping period pain. When period pain improves, not only does quality of life look up, but Chinese medicine has the view that removing the stasis causing the pain, can also be seen as a marker of improved reproductive health in general.
